Geological maps and cross-sections are prepared by a team of geologists who use large sets of geological and geographic data collected during field work, from shallow exploration boreholes. The geologists also use aerial photographs for interpretation and digital terrain models. Apart from materials collected during field work our geologists use archival geologic maps, geologic literature and studies as well as reports and logs from deep boreholes. Eventually, the results of biostratigraphic and petrographic analyses are included in the final comprehensive work.
